Coffee-maker-accessories is proud to present three new members to its staff! Please welcome Tracy and Bernard to the crew. Both have multiple years of coffee experience and are both hated worldwide for their extreme pickiness with coffee and their constant boasting of coffee knowledge. 1 box of coffee = how many cups?

If you’re going to start regularly ordering coffee online from for example my personal favorite Gevalia, it becomes important to know how long a box will last. A Gevalia bag, for instance contains 8 ounces. So how many do you have to order per month to satisfy your monthly coffee craving?

Well, 40 ounces of water will produce approximately seven 6 ounce cups of coffee. One half ounce of fresh ground coffee (approximately 4 tablespoons) will give you a good tasting coffee which is neither too strong nor too light. That’s 16 servings per Gevalia box at about 6 cups each, which equals approximately 96 cups! That’s assuming your cups are 6 ounces of course.

Do some more math on this based on your own level of coffee consumption, and you’re ready to set an ordering schedule!
