According to them it’s a $168 value when added all together and although I can’t confirm that exactly, it’s definitely huge bang for the buck, no doubt, with the entire package costing less than most coffee makers do separately. And the seperate coffee makers you can find in the same price range are not as high quality as this one, believe me! I can’t recommend this offer enough since it gives you everything you need to enjoy high quality gourmet coffee (or even plain ol’ cheap coffee if that’s what you prefer!) at a terribly reasonable price.

The coffee maker has a 12-cup glass carafe. Not my favorite kind of carafe by any means, but as mentioned above, the offer also comes with the great stainless steel carafe which you can use immediately after the coffee is done. It comes with all the essential standard drip coffee maker features: a programmable clock/timer, pause-and-serve feature and auto shut-off (which has probably saved my house from burning down many many times ). You can choose between a white or a black coffeemaker when signing up.

What’s the catch with a great offer like this then? Well, you do become a member at Gevalia, and their intention with the offer is the assumption that you will keep ordering their coffee in a schedule from them after you’ve received the kit. BUT, there is seriously no obligation with this offer. It is a completely risk free trial! If after having ordered the bundle and find yourself being one of those strange people who don’t care for Gevalia’s coffee (they do exist!), you simply cancel the service and that’s it! So that’s the catch: you have to spend a minute or so canceling your membership if you don’t like the coffee, and you still keep all the equipment. Hardly anything to cry about.

The offer is so good that many assume it’s a scam. The idea of this offer being a scam can be seen being dismissed by plenty of people at for example Yahoo! Answers. Since it is pretty common among some shady “companies” to scam people by luring them into giving their credit card numbers with offers like this that they then can’t (or at least have a very hard time to) get out of, it’s understandable that many are skeptical to this offer. But don’t be afraid, Gevalia is a reputable company with lots of satisfied customers.

This is my highest recommendation of all drip coffee makers right now. There is no other deal like this one that I know of. The only reason to choose anything else that I can see would be if the 12-cup glass carafe does not fit your purposes.
