This is a lower price alternative to the standard 12 cup drip coffee makers with a glass carafe, like the Cuisinart and Gevalia coffee makers. Honestly, as long as the Gevalia offer lasts, I simply cannot see a reason to pick this one. It’s worse than the Gevalia coffee maker and at $35.15 (Amazon’s price at the time of writing this) it’s more expensive than Gevalia’s entire coffee kit offer. The only reason I could see anyone picking this would be if you simply don’t trust the Gevalia offer, but like I’ve said in the Gevalia review, you really have nothing to fear.

However, if the Gevalia offer does expire, or you for whatever reason choose not to go for their offer, and you’re after a cheap yet high quality drip coffee maker, this is the coffee maker for you! For the price you pay, it does brew some exceptionally great coffee. If we exclude Gevalia’s offer and measure the value per dollar for all other coffee machines on this site, this one would probably win.

The usual, mandatory features are all there. It has a timer, auto-shut off and all that good stuff. So nothing to worry about in that department.

There’s not much else to say really. A solid, standard coffee maker for a low price, probably the very best of the worst .
