Best High-End 12-Cup Drip Coffee Maker
Cuisinart DCC-1200 12-Cup Brew Central Drip Coffee Maker

Here’s a 12 cup glass-carafe coffee maker comparable to the “Best Value” Gevalia one, except waaay more expensive
, around $75, depending on what color you select. You can choose between four different colors: matte black (shown in the picture on the right), black/stainless, black chrome and brushed stainless steel. It has a different design from Gevalia’s high-tech one too, a bit more retro on this one, if that’s your kind of thing.
Features include the usual standard clock/timer so you can wake up to your coffee, brew-pause and auto shut-off. A nice perk is the 1-to-4 or 5-to-12-cup brewing options which helps provide maximum flavor depending on your quantity. The warming plate is heat-adjustable which can be useful if you don’t want to use a thermal carafe instead to keep it heated without affecting the taste.
There really isn’t anything bad to say about this coffee maker, it’s one of the better “standard” machines that makes good coffee. However, other than the slightly smaller size of this drip coffee maker and possibly the design depending on your personal taste, there really isn’t any advantage to this coffee maker over Gevalia’s significantly cheaper (but higher value!) one.
